Who We Are

A chapter of US Lacrosse, the Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Foundation is dedicated to promoting the participation in the great sport of lacrosse throughout Long Island and New York City, while promoting the safety, quality, and high standard of sportsmanship of the Native American game.

The LIMLF Board of Directors strives to represent all aspects of lacrosse across Long Island and New York City. Men and women who coach and/or volunteer with teams of beginning youthsters through post-collegiate players along with referees, umpires, organizers, managers, parents, supporters, and other dedicated lacrosse people meet monthly to respond to the needs of their lacrosse constituencies. Currently there are 11 members on the Executive Committee, 19 Directors and 22 Associate Directors. All of these dedicated volunteers work to spread the positive spirit of lacrosse and support the highest ethical standards of the game.

If you have an issue that you would like to be addressed or if you want to communicate with the LIMLF Board of Directors please contact John Phillips.
