LIMLF - Jamboree Page 2008 LIMLF Lacrosse Jamboree Tentative date: June 14, 2008 Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Foundation A Chapter of Sponsored by PRESENTS The 2008 L.I.M.L.F Lacrosse Jamboree Date: Saturday, June 14th, 2008 Time: 8 am-8 pm Location: Mitchell Field Complex (adjacent to the Nassau Coliseum) Age Groups: Boys & Girls --- [3rd ], [4th ], [3rd & 4th ], [5th ], [6th ], [5th & 6th ] Grades Boys & Girls --- [7th/ 8th], [rising JV- 9th/10th ], [rising Varsity- 11th/12th] **Grade level as of September, 2007 Select Team Requirements: U13 must not have been 13 or older on 12/31/06 U15 must not have been 15 or older on 12/31/06 U17 must not have been 17 or older on 12/31/06 Fees: $450. per team*with a $100. DEPOSIT by APRIL 15th & BALANCE by MAY 15th NOTE: $500. per team AFTER April 15th, space permitting. Each team is guaranteed THREE (3) games Free Clinic participation during the day by Warrior Each player will receive a Jamboree Tee shirt and a Warrior "gift bag" *Fee based on a team of 24 players. Timelines: $100. [Non-refundable] DEPOSIT due by April 15th Team Application & $350. balance of the Registration Fee due: May 15th Players Waivers & Coaches Code of Conduct due: Saturday, June 14th Special Demonstrations and Highlights: **Lacrosse Equipment Exchange Program: **Donate your old, usable lacrosse equipment and receive a raffle ticket for NEW Warrior equipment** Jamboree Format: 2008 NYS Modified rules [3rd grade through 6th grade] 2008 NYS High School rules [7th grade through 12th grade] 25 minute running time halves. 5 minute halftime. Central horn starts (and ends) all games on the hour. All penalties will result in a (two whistle) fast break.[player MUST leave field for replacement] TIE games: Game over, NO overtime 3rd & 4th grade girls- NO checking, 5th & 6th grade girls- "Modified checking" It is recommended ALL players and coaches should be members of US Lacrosse.
